I just completed my meditation which took day was more of dozing off in and out of a nap but the idea about religion keeps bouncing around in my head this morning. Today’s mantra had a definite Egyptian feel to it and I can recall moments where it has felt like my soul or body has been tried to be possessed or something and my family has come to intervene. I don’t understand it all. I know certain people don’t like my beliefs but I guess that doesn’t really matter. I’m up again for tai chi in the park and being honest, I’m tired today. I went to bed earlier but woke up for a few hours in the middle of the night. I think about the great mystics and sages like Buddha, Christ, Muhammad and wonderful were they very different? I’ve seen and read blips on how they were healers. Did their divinity come from a separate source or is that something we concocted? I talk about a universal oneness and I really want o understand it more without the fear of my spirit being interfered with. It’s a quiet morning in nyc. It’s strange how still it is. I can even feel it from inside my studio. I need to spend some time alone reconnecting with nature again. I got a lot of time with nature at home. In many ways, that was really healing and good for me. People aren’t meant to live long periods of time without nature. It isn’t healthy. It does something to you. I’m in a weird place this morning. Maybe I’m just tired. I’ll say being in the city right now isn’t as much fun. I miss my friends and being able to go do things without masks or social distancing. Some people have been like this for over two months. Gotta do something to change that.
