Dance! It was originally a communication between two or more people . That’s how I at least understand it. It’s responsive, dimensional. Most or almost all dance I see online is frontal. I saw a glimpse of it in Brian Friedman’s choreo video where the dancers actually turned and started dancing with one another, But then it went right back to being front. I think yesterday was a set up and I didn’t realize it but the thing that was so great was the sense of community. How people from all different walks of life just got together and started working out. I mean, I’m sure this was partly pre meditated. Y’all know what I like but even tho we didn’t dance, there were wonderful human connections made. And the funny thing about our working out was no one was teaching anyone. We saw something we liked and just tried it and it encouraged most others to join in. Some were scared and we even tried to encourage one another in that. Dance is no different. It’s something that brings people together. Yesterday, I saw two black men working out together and their daughter was on the lawn and the first thing I thought was, thrupple? 😂😂
