Day 44
I am watching a movie called oko on Netflix and the beauty behind it is how there are two separate inns with junior inn keepers who at first are adversaries but through the a connection to a greater cause, upholding the reputation and honor of their culture learn to support one another and ally in keeping their businesses afloat. I’ve had a long conversation with a fellow this morning about relationships. And I really believe that relationships are built on trust and who shows up. Even when they may be going through difficulties themselves. The thing about John, is he truly lets me be me. No judgements. He respects my desire to explore and we find time for each other. That feels like love to me. I think there is something special about Davide, I don’t know what it is yet but I want the chance to try and figure it out without the expectation of what it should look like. My hope, is that he would too. It’s a very open minded approach, I think. But the wonder and excitement lie in the uncertainty. Sometimes we worry so much about what could go wrong but what about everything that could go right.
