Day 35
I really like learning Tai chi. I like my teacher. I’m still trying to get comfortable with this online platform. It feels so detached from people and nature and I don’t understand why Lithuania is happening. I’d give anything to be back on a set or stage. I understand progress and change but this isn’t natural. I still don’t believe we are designed for this exclusively. At least, I’m not . Is this really the new norm? I can understand something like this in conjunction with human connection but this is lonely. I can’t wait for the world to open up more. It’s hard to breathe. I may have to move. All the construction and now ac units running... I went dancing out on the pier yesterday for hours it was beautiful but now my shoulders are a little sun burned. We are expending too much energy. The sun is too hot. The city still needs to cool off. I need to go with my original idea which is ballet at night. We need more nature. I saw the complex being built on the Hudson. Good start. I personally feel we need to focus less on residential and more on natural settings. AC emissions are at an all time high, destroying the ozone we need places where people can gather outdoors under the protection of trees. It’ll keep them cool, socially distanced and reduce the use of Ac units and start to repair the planet. Less residential property will also reduce the amount of people in the city helping further reduce or contain the virus in possible future outbreaks and giving us more time to continue repairing the city. Anyone questioning the connection to nature, I was home for two months and outside everyday, no sun burn. I’m also black and have only been sunburned once in my life before. Ive been learning not to answer right away. I used to act impulsively at every opportunity received in this industry but I’m doing things different to protect my energy. I got a submission for an audition and I needed to meditate on it and write what my feelings were, also, think about my approach to it. Taking on a role is very a delicate process.
